Problem of chaotic requirements gathering in b2b outsourcing

1. Describe the problem:

I worked in B2B outsourcing and constantly faced chaotic and unstructured collection of requirements from clients. This leads to the creation of incorrect products, exceeding budgets and deadlines, and ultimately, to the disappointment of both parties.

The problem is that there is no effective tool for the joint creation of project documentation between the client (who doesn't know what they want in detail) and the developer (who doesn't understand the business context).

Existing methods (hypothesis maps, entities, business logic) require high expertise and time, which are often unavailable.

2. How often does the problem occur?

My colleagues and I face this problem in literally every new project. This is not an isolated case, but a systemic pain of the entire outsourcing and product development, which repeats cyclically.

3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?

I tried to formalize the process by creating algorithms and checklists for requirements gathering. Ultimately, I came up with the idea of an AI agent that could conduct a dialogue with the client, ask the right questions, and automatically generate ready-made project artifacts (hypothesis maps, descriptions of entities and business logic) that are understandable to both parties.

4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?

At the moment, it is difficult to estimate a monthly subscription, as the solution is seen in the form of a tool that radically changes the process. However, I and my circle are the target audience that recognizes the high value of solving this problem and is ready to become the first users.
