1. Describe the problem:
I own bitcoin, and for the past year, I have been constantly worried about what will happen to these funds if I die unexpectedly. Currently, there is no simple and secure way to pass them on to my family without significant risks.
If I share my private keys or seed phrase, there is a risk of theft. If I don’t share them, the funds could be lost forever. Existing solutions (multisignature, custodial services) are either too complex or require trust in a third party.
I need a system that allows me to:
This problem is becoming increasingly urgent for me, but so far, it hasn’t been truly solved.

I need a system that allows me to:
- securely transfer bitcoin to my heirs
- not require full trust in a third party
- protect the funds while I am alive
- be simple enough for my non-technical relatives
This problem is becoming increasingly urgent for me, but so far, it hasn’t been truly solved.
2. How often does the problem occur?
The problem isn’t a daily one, but it has been constantly on my mind ever since I started holding bitcoin (over a year ago). Every time I think about long-term planning or security, it resurfaces. Even though I don’t face it every day, it’s a persistent source of background stress.
3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?
I have tried simple methods: writing the seed phrase on paper and hiding it in a safe place, sharing the information with a trusted family member. I have also looked into multisignature wallets and custodial services, but they seem too complex or require more trust in intermediaries than I am willing to give.
Currently, I don’t have a real solution. I manage the situation manually, but I understand this is not ideal and still risky.

4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?
If a simple, reliable, and user-friendly solution emerges, I am willing to consider it and would likely pay for it if it truly meets those criteria. I am open to discussing any options with those who create a solution.
