Need a smart device that automatically detects pigeons and permanently deters them. Everything on the market only works temporarily.

1. Describe the problem:

I need a smart device that will once and for all solve my pigeon problem. They've taken over rooftops, balconies, window sills, and ledges around my property — and nothing keeps them away for long.

I've tried almost everything people recommend: vinegar, repellent smells, reflective discs, spikes. The problem is that nothing works long-term. At best, these methods help for a short time, and then the pigeons come back.

Pigeons constantly return to the same spots, making noise, building nests, and leaving droppings everywhere. It's not just annoying — it's unsanitary and makes daily life unbearable.

2. How often does the problem occur?

Pigeons repeatedly return to the same surfaces. This creates an ongoing hygiene and maintenance nightmare. Because they keep coming back, it's impossible to maintain cleanliness.

3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?

I've tested numerous common pigeon deterrent methods:

  • Vinegar and other smell-based repellents
  • Reflective discs / visual deterrents
  • Spikes
  • Other basic deterrent tactics

Result: These methods might reduce activity temporarily, but they provide no long-term solution. Pigeons adapt, briefly relocate, and then return to the same spots — continuing to roost, nest, and foul the area.

4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?

I'm willing to pay $200–400 one-time for a device that:

  • Automatically detects when pigeons land on protected areas
  • Activates an effective deterrent (like an unpleasant sound or something else that actually works)
  • Operates autonomously without constant human intervention
  • Doesn't harm birds but reliably keeps them away from specific locations

I don't need a temporary fix — I need a real, effective, permanent solution that finally solves my pigeon problem.
