1. Describe the problem:
My grandmother lives in a village 27 km from the city. I am 1400 km away from her. When she got sick, I faced the impossibility of ordering groceries and medicine for home delivery to her: major delivery services from chain stores and pharmacies do not operate in her locality. What's really missing is a local courier service where a person could go to a regular village store and pharmacy, buy items from a list, and deliver everything to her home.
2. How often does the problem occur?
This problem arises every time an elderly relative in a village or small town needs help. I asked friends from different regions of Russia — this service is universally unavailable in the provinces; it's a systemic problem.
3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?
I had to search through acquaintances for someone who could help or ask neighbors. This is quite inconvenient. I also haven't found a universal and reliable service that would take on such a task (accept an order online, purchase from local stores, deliver, and ensure remote payment).
4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?
I'm willing to pay standard courier service rates: 300-500 rubles for delivery. The amount could be higher if the shopping list is large. It is critically important that all payment (both for the courier's service and for the goods themselves) happens online, so that I can pay for everything myself and my grandmother doesn't have to deal with cash.
