It's impossible to donate to animal shelters due to complete distrust in charity fundraisers. There is no service with guaranteed transparency and audit

1. Describe the problem:

I want to help animal shelters, but I can't trust online charity fundraisers. Every time I see an ad asking to transfer 200 rubles "for dog food" on Ozon or social media, I get one feeling—it's a scam. There's no transparency: who is collecting the money, how much of it actually reaches the animals, what condition those shelters are in. After the recent news about a shelter where 200 corpses were found, all trust in the system is gone. I want to donate, but only with 100% certainty that the money won't be stolen.

2. How often does the problem occur?

The problem arises constantly — every time I see such an ad or think about helping. It's a daily internal conflict between the desire to do a good deed and complete distrust in the mechanism.

3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?

I've looked for equivalents of effective altruistic charity (like GiveWell), but for Russia and the CIS, there is no similar standard of transparency, audit, and verification of organizations. Existing platforms don't provide the level of assurance needed.

4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?

I'm ready to allocate a fixed monthly amount to help animals, but only on the condition that there is a service that guarantees: 1) all funds reach a verified shelter, 2) the shelter's work undergoes regular independent audits, 3) I see a specific report on how my money was spent.
