Fans of paper planners lack an iPad app that would allow importing PDF layout templates and using them as a foundation for digital notes

1. Describe the problem:

I absolutely love taking notes on paper, but I'd like the convenience of an iPad. The thing is, I love paper planners, organizers, and notebooks that have a ready-made, thoughtfully designed page layout. My problem with digital note-taking apps is that I have to manually draw any structure or outline on the page. I haven't been able to find an app on the App Store that would allow me to, for example, upload a linked PDF (a layout template) and use it as a foundation, switching between different page layouts within the same "digital notebook."

2. How often does the problem occur?

I encounter this every time I try to transfer my workflows from paper to the iPad. It's a constant barrier that forces me back to physical notebooks.

3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?

I've tried numerous note-taking apps (GoodNotes, Notability, etc.). They're good for a blank slate or their own templates, but they don't allow me to import and flexibly use my own, complex page layouts that I'm used to on paper.

4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?
