We run a small business. I have security cameras installed in my office, where we serve customers and sell our products. But I can’t constantly sit and watch the footage. As a result, items periodically go missing — someone comes in and steals things, and I only find out about it after the fact.

What I need is not just a “record and store” system, but a service that analyzes the camera feed in real time and sends an alert if something suspicious happens. That way I can respond immediately, rather than just documenting the theft afterward.

This has been going on for 5 years. Thefts don’t happen every day, but they are regular. Each incident means lost merchandise, time spent dealing with the situation, and a feeling of helplessness.

I installed cameras, but without automated analysis they are useless for preventing theft. It’s impossible to monitor the footage continuously on my own, and hiring someone just for this task is too expensive. Hiring a security guard is also expensive.
