A photographer moving to the US needs clients. Platforms require reviews, agencies are expensive. Wants a website + ads that bring bookings. Willing to pay $100–300/month.

1. Describe the problem:

I am a photographer. I have a portfolio, I have experience, and I have a strong desire to move to the United States. But there is one problem that holds me back more than visas and plane tickets: I have no income in the country I want to move to.

I don't know where to find my first clients in an unfamiliar city. I don't know how local platforms work. I don't understand how much to charge for a shoot in order to compete with local photographers.

I've heard of Thumbtack, TaskRabbit, and Angi, but they are general platforms for all types of services. I've tried to figure them out — you have to compete with dozens of other photographers, set up a profile, gather reviews. And even then, it doesn't guarantee clients.

There are agencies that build websites and set up advertising for photographers. But they cost thousands of dollars a month — that's not for someone who is just moving and isn't earning yet.

I need a simple solution: a turnkey website + configured advertising that brings in clients immediately. So that I can just top up my balance and receive bookings, without having to figure out marketing and platforms.

2. How often does the problem occur?

Every time I think about moving. This is the main barrier that stops me from taking the step. I cannot start a new life in a new country until I understand how to earn money there.

3. What attempts have you made to solve the problem?

I have looked into platforms for immigrants like Bazar Club and Zdo. They help with housing, jobs, and adaptation, but they don't solve the issue of attracting clients for a private specialist.

I tried to figure out Thumbtack and similar services — there are too many competitors, it's hard to stand out, and you need reviews, which I don't have in the US.

I looked into marketing agencies for photographers — they offer a full package: website, SEO, Google Ads. But their packages start at $1,000+ per month, and sometimes go up to $4,000–8,000. That's not for someone just starting out.

4. How much are you willing to pay for the solution?

I am willing to pay $100–300 per month for a service that gives me a ready-made website and configured advertising that actually brings in clients. So that I can simply top up my balance and receive bookings, without having to deal with marketing.

The main thing is that it works from the very first month, while I still have no income in the US.
